About Interdisciplinary Health Services (HSV)

The College of Health and Human Services has designed a track in the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services for registered, certified, and licensed health and human services professionals wishing to upgrade their knowledge and abilities. This degree program educates students in the knowledge and skills required by all health and human services workers. The program will prepare students for careers in health and human service administration and provide professionals with registration, certification, or licensure credentialing with a baccalaureate completion program.

Benefits of Program

This program will prepare students for expanded and responsible professional roles including entry-or mid-level administrative positions in ambulatory care facilities, health maintenance organizations, hospitals, long term care facilities, public health departments, public and private health and human service agencies, health related industries, non-profit health and human service organizations, managed health care, rehabilitation facilities, industrial health care, and employee assistance programs.

This program is also an excellent option for those students seeking admission into professional graduate health and human service degree and certificate programs.
