The Southwest campus, located one mile from I-94, offers scenic grounds with free parking. With continually expanding program offerings, many students take their first two years of classes at Lake Michigan College and other local colleges, complete their bachelor's degrees at WMU, and then move on to finish their graduate programs without ever leaving the area. Being in close proximity to LMC gives our students the opportunity to use the LMC library, bookstore and other resources as a supplement to WMU's extensive library and database services.

Become part of history: Take part in community carousel
The Silver Beach Carousel Society is working to place a WMU-themed horse on the Silver Beach Carousel as representation of WMU's long history with the community. If you would like to contribute, call (269) 429-6222 or visit www.silverbeachcarousel.com.
